Stallion Show 2003, Part 4:
Older Stallions on Display

As a special treat, some of the older (twelve years or more), fully approved stallions were brought out for the audience to see. How magnificent they were! Some were shown on long line, and others with a simple lead line. They have already won their places among the best of the best and did not need to contend for a world championship. This was a favorite part of the show for the fans. And the horses seemed to enjoy themselves too!
A personal favorite - Thomas 327 born in 1990. He is sire to our filly Dahlia.

The class of older approved stallions had a number of the "legends" we had only heard about. Many were displayed in a white, showy driving harness. Others were in a simple halter. All were wonderful! Again, they were not there to show (compete), just to "show off"! Below are some pictures we captured with the camcorder. To get more information about the horse in the picture, place your cursor over the picture and see the caption. To see a larger image, just click the picture.
